How does the Affiliate Program work?
After signing up, you’ll be provided with an Affiliate Account Dashboard with encoded text links, banner ads, and other marketing materials you can use to promote the Michael Wilcox School of Colour products. You place a link or banner advert on your website, a blog entry or email etc and when someone clicks through your link and goes to the School of Colour website and makes a purchase you receive 10% commission store credit on all orders. This will quickly accumulate so you will be able to get free products.
Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?
No, it is free to join our affiliate program, and there is no minimum sales level or any other requirements.
Can I refer myself?
No. If you join our affiliate program and use the affiliate link to buy for your own personal gain, you will not receive a commission.
I’m outside Canada, can I still join your program?
Yes, the Michael Wilcox School of Colour currently operates through five separate websites (Canada, USA, UK, Europe and Australia) you can sign up for our affiliate program separately on any of these websites.
How do you assist Art Teachers?
The Michael Wilcox School of Colour creates well researched and ground breaking educational materials and associated products. The affiliate program was originally designed as a teachers program whereby art teachers endorse our materials in their classroom and promote them to their students. If a teacher has for example ten students and they all buy products such as a book, colour mixing palette or artists paint through the teachers affiliate link then the teacher receives 10% of each order as store credit, thus potentially getting their resources and materials for free.
How can you assist Art Students?
Affiliate art teachers will be given a coupon code to give their students which will offer a discount off a particular product or off their total order. The coupon is linked to the teachers affiliate program and the teacher continues to receive their affiliate commission in store credit.
If the art student becomes an affiliate themselves then when they promote their affiliate banners or links on their website, blog or social media they will receive the 10% affiliate commission in store credit to buy their paints, books and other materials.
How can you assist Art Clubs?
The affiliate program offers sponsorship to art clubs and groups by providing free art materials, books and courses to the club when they promote our products to their members and online presence. The affiliate commission is paid as store credit, once items have been purchased using the credit they can be auctioned off or sold to generate funds.
How can you assist Artists?
Artists can join our affiliate program and when they get orders through their affiliate links they will receive the 10% affiliate commission in store credit to buy their paints, books and other materials.
